Banana Nut Cake




Ingredients:
1 Cup Milkmaid
1 Cup maida
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp soda
½ cup butter (taken out from the beated milk cream)
¼ cup apricots or walnuts
½ cup milk
1 banana chopped into small pieces

Method:
1. Mix milkmaid, banana pieces and butter properly and keep aside.
2. Sieve maida ,baking powder and soda together with the help of a mesh (chhanni) and mix it with the mixture of step 1.
3. Then put some milk and mix it.
4. At last put nuts and prepare the baking tin.
5. Now for baking the cake take a pressure cooker and remove the whistle and gasket from it.
6. Grease the baking tin with ghee and little maida so as to avoid sticking of cake on to the sides and bottom.
7. Put the baking tin in the cooker for 10 minutes ,close the lid and simmer the gas.
8. After 10 minutes pour the above prepared mixture in the baking tin and close the lid.
9. Let the cake bake on simmer gas for 30-35 minutes.
10. Check for the readiness of cake with the help of a knife.
11. If it comes out clean the cake is ready otherwise let it cook for more 5-10 minutes till it turns to light brown colour.
12. You can decorate the cake with the help of colored cream.
13. The cake is now ready to eat.
