Ingredients:
¾ cup milk cream (malai)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 ½ cup maida
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp soda
½ cup milk
5-6 drops vanilla essence
Method:
1. Mix cream and sugar in one direction. Don’t change the direction while mixing.
2. To this add sieved maida, baking powder and soda.
3. Then add milk to it.
4. Finally add vanilla essence to it.
5. Now for baking the cake take a pressure cooker and remove the whistle and gasket from it.
6. Grease the baking tin with ghee and little maida so as to avoid sticking of cake on to the sides and bottom.
7. Put the baking tin in the cooker for 10 minutes , close the lid and simmer the gas.
8. After 10 minutes pour either of the above prepared mixture in the baking tin and close the lid.
9. Let the cake bake on simmer gas for 30-35 minutes.
10. Check for the readiness of cake with the help of a knife.
11. If it comes out clean the cake is ready otherwise let it cook for more 5-10 minutes till it turns to light brown color.
12. You can decorate the cake with the help of colored cream.
13. The cake is now ready to eat.
