Lemon Tea Cake




Ingredients:
150 gms butter
150 gms powdered sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
150 gms maida
½ tsp baking powder
2-3 drops lemon colour
1 tsp lemon essence

Method:
1. Mix butter and sugar properly.
2. Add lemon drops , lemon color and essence to it.
3. To this add maida and baking powder and stir it properly.
4. Pour this mixture in the greased baking tin and bake it in the oven for 35 mins at 180 degrees.
5. Check for the readiness of cake with the help of a knife.
6. If it comes out clean the cake is ready otherwise let it cook for more 5-10 minutes till it turns to light brown color.
7. You can decorate the cake with the help of colored cream.
8. The cake is now ready to eat.
