Fruit Triffle Pudding



Ingredients:
1 ½ cup cake crumbs
1 ½ cup mixed chopped fruits
1 packet jelly
1 cup milk
1 tbsp custard powder
4 tbsps sugar
1 cup fresh cream mixed with 1 tbsp sugar
A few cherries

Method:
1. Lightly stew the fruits with 2 tbsps of sugar and keep aside.
2. Dissolve the jelly packet in 1 ½ cups of hot water and half set in the fridge.
3. Whisk along with the chopped fruits.
4. Line in a pudding bowl with the cake crumbs and spread the jelly over it.
5. Set in the fridge for 15 minutes.
6. Mix milk , custard powder, colour and essence ( optional) and remaining sugar and cook till thick.
7. Cool and spread over the fruit jelly.
8. Set in the fridge for 15 minutes.
9. Decorate it with whipped cream and cherries and walnuts if desired.
